I think it’s true …
I think it’s true sometimes that we can learn more easily by watching lessons designed for children. The only Spanish I know was learned by watching Sesame Street and Dora the Explorer.

Oh, sure, there are …
Oh, sure, there are TONS of germs. Imagine all the hands that touch them, drop them on the ground, etc. Normally our skin protects us from the germs, but in the case of the Easter eggs, we put the money in with candy and we don’t want the money to contaminate the candy wrappers.

those are pretty good ideas. she is only 2 so i try to keep things concrete. i say “we dont touch dirty money” (we use credit/debit cards) i cant really make exceptions at her age but maybe when shes older. the photo copy idea could really be good when she starts getting in depth with counting it! thanks so much.

Thanks, I wrote this to help my grandson remember the value of the coins.
As for money, we wash and sanitize the coins we put in plastic Easter eggs. Maybe you could do that, too. Another thought would be to photocopy and cut out the coins.

I may not go so far …
I may not go so far as to say this is my best song ever, but I CAN tell you it was a great tool in teaching the value of coins to my 4 year old grandson. These songs are for classroom instruction, not entertainment, and, as such, will never hit the pop charts.
