Let’s get something clear… Muscle building isn’t like doing brain surgery. It’s actually really simple. Step 1) Find a proven plan, designed by a mentor your trust to give you big muscles, low fat, and lots of energy. 2) Follow that plan, step by step. No exceptions. That’s the only formula that works. Stop over-thinking your workouts.

Keep in mind that you should train both sides of your joints equally in strength training. If you to three sets of bicep curls for example you should always make sure that you also do three sets of tricep exercises. And on and on, like that. If you do the front side of a muscle, make sure you work out the back of that muscle equally.

Another sneaky trick if you’re not getting the big bicep muscles you’ve always wanted is to increase the frequency of arm training that you do. Don’t worry about over-training here. It’s completely fine to train your arms three times per week. If you do 3 workouts a week, they muscle will grow and have time to recover as well. That is the goal. Now, get to it!
