Days before the G20 financial summit in London, Zhou Xiaochuan, the governor of the People’s Bank of China, called for a new currency to eventually replace the US dollar.
The dollar, which was made the reserve currency after World War II, has come under increased pressure of late.
Barak Obama, the US president, cast doubt upon calls by senior Chinese authorities for the creation of a new global currency to replace the dollar as the standard bearer for the world.

China holds 2 trillion dollars of US debt. A few months ago China stopped loaning the US money because they finally realized that the US is NEVER going to pay them back!

@BusterXXL I’m referring to a number of people, each specifically is unknown or they would be in the hands of authorities for offenses such as fraud and extortion. “Anyone” includes employees of Bank and Investment firms where poor investment managing and fraud were allowed for personal gain. I’m neither democrat nor republican; neither party can deny money grubbing.. You ever notice how everyone in office is easily a millionaire (Not to say that all acquired their wealth dishonestly)

What the media …
What the media doesn’t discuss is the real cause which was the greed of select individuals who sought to get rich at the expense and disregard of anything else.. I find it funny how the government was “cracking down” on banks and investment firms but has since become silent.. Those responsible need to be stripped of everything they so greedily negotiated for.. Find vengeance, THEN a solution. I personally believe that no one currency should dominate the international economc system, wether it’s USD, or EUR, or GBP, or JPY and so on. It gives an unfair advantage to a country. It should be a basket. How about a basket of currencies of the G-20?
